ABOUT FEDD 45

FEDD 45 (the label) first started in 2000. FEDD, which originally stood for For Ever Doin' Dirt, started way before. In the early 90's, Him and a couple of friends were drinkin and joking around on the block, seeing how many different meanings they could come up with for the word FEDD. Someone shouted out "For Ever Doin' Dirt", and there it was. From there FEDD became the name of their clique because at the time thats all they were into, Doin' Dirt!!! Years after, and a whole lot of dirt later, Him told Dubez one day in the studio "yo we need to call the label FEDD 45." And after that, as Dubez and Him frequently say "it was a wrap". This is when they chose to change "FEDD" from For Ever Doin' Dirt, to For Ever Doin' Dollars. All because aside from hot music, dollars were their second primary concern. Dubez, who has officially been in the rap game since 97' with the Sporty Thievz. And Him, Dubez's long time friend, business partner and also an artist on FEDD 45 due to release late 2002, felt with Dubez's knowledge and experience in the industry, that it was time start something new. While working on his soon to be released solo debut "When The Smoke Clears", Dubez, Him and Lebronski (who are brothers), knew that they had a very strong chance at independent success. Dubez who was already producing, was ready to take the bull by the horns and start with the first step he knew best, THE MUSIC.... In between writing and producing on the blazin' independent Sporty Thievz release "F*#K SPORTY THIEVZ", (www.stealburgrecords.com) FEDD 45's beats started getting made, songs started getting done, and soon it became beyond evident that it was time to label it, and make it available for the streets.... As easy as that may sound, Dubez and Him knew FEDD 45 was gonna take more than just hot music, much more. With a in-house studio already on deck, and help from other long time friends like Angel aka "930", Thorough Entertainment's President and CEO Big "O", and of coarse Sporty Thievz, their struggle was made a little bit easier. With hopes of one day scoring a major distribution deal, and taking FEDD 45 to every corner of the world, Dubez, Him, Lebronski and the rest of the heads involved with FEDD 45 will be making some of the hottest music to ever invade the streets, while making sure they live up to For Ever Doin' Dollars. And by the way, the .45 is what protects the dollars..........
